John Luckhurst, MS, CCC-A FAAA

John Luckhurst, MS, CCC-A FAAA is affiliated with the practice of Philadelphia Ear, Nose and Throat Associates as a Clinical Audiologist, Luckhurst received his undergraduate degree from the State University College at Geneseo, Geneseo NY and his masters degree in Audiology from Ithaca College, Ithaca NY. His twenty five years of experience are based in the areas of diagnostic audiologic testing, hearing aid prescription, fitting, counseling and research for adults and children, balance testing, cochlear implants, osseointegrated implants, auditory processing testing, tinnitus testing and management and clincal program design and management. He has lectured extensively and was an contibuting editor for the "Hearing Loss" textbook. He serves on the editorial board of the ENT journal. Prior research involved hearing aid selection for infants, developing fitting protocols for completely-in-the-canal (CIC) hearing instruments, fitting strategies for programmable wide dynamic range hearing instruments (WDRC), testing for children with FM auditory systems and computerized tone and speech audiometry.

His current research involves working with the publisher in establishing new test norms for upcoming SCAN-3 Auditory Processing test and determing new strategies for amplification for individuals with Single Sided Deafness (SSD). He additionally serves as an adjunct professor for La Salle University in the Speech -Language Hearing Science Department, as an Instructor for Drexel University and as a consultant for the Clarke (PA) School for the Hearing Impaired and a hearing aid manufacturer. He is affiliated with the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a fellow member of the American Academy of Audiology. He serves as a member of the Publicity Committee for the the American Academy of Audiology. He is licensed to practice as an Audiologist in New York and Pennsylvania.

 

Meghan L. Pavlick, Au.D.

Meghan L. Pavlick, Au.D. is a Board Certified Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She is also an Instructor in the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at Drexel University College of Medicine. She graduated with a B.S. in Audiology & Speech Pathology in 2003 and an Au.D. Audiology in 2009 from Bloomsburg University. Dr. Pavlick is a preceptor for Salus and Bloomsburg University Au.D. students. She has published research in the area of Central Auditory Processing Disorders. Her interests are Hearing and selection and fitting, (C)APD, Cochlear Implants.

 

Caren Sokolow, MA, CCC-A

Caren Sokolow, MA, CCC-A is a clinical audiologist who has practiced with us since 1990.  Ms. Sokolow completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh and did her graduate work at Temple University. Currently, she works as a per diem audiologist.
